WAN Foundation is a non-political, local Non-Governmental Organisation duly registered and working in Kenya. Started in 2018 by volunteers with a passion to transform the lives of the communities through their wealth of experience in various disciplines, WAN Foundation has over the past few years expanded its reach. It brings together combined experiences and skills of its founders, Wilberfoce Nduku, Mildred Ichingwa and Sheldon Opiri.
The foundation supports community-driven development initiatives to promote the sustainable development of communities through social investment, resource mobilization, endowment building and grant- making.
Our constant interaction with different communities brought us to understand the critical role of these communities in community development and management of natural resource. As a result, we initiated projects that are linked to community development
