Access to education is a basic human right. It reduces poverty and child labor and offers the tools needed to succeed in life. Obtaining quality education is in line with SDG goal number 4 which is to ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning.

Under Education we aim to enable the less fortunate children access quality and inclusive education from their early years to the highest level possible. Learners from impoverised backgrounds especially those living with disabilities lack access to educational assessment services, and tailored learning support to enable them to benefit from education like their more privileged counterparts. In addition, many caregivers of such children are normally unwilling to enroll their children.

We strengthen the capacity of learning institutions and caregivers in marginalized communities to cater to the unique learning needs of children living with disabilities in their early years. Our initiatives strive to enhance the quality of teacher preparedness, educational assessments, and access to digital technologies to promote inclusive education.

We partner with school leadership and management, parents’ associations, grassroots organizations, state and non-state actors in advocacy, research and program delivery in inclusive education.
