WAN-K believes in “Conserving the Environment, we have a target of planting 1 million trees in schools and public spaces, encouraging the community to undertake reforestation, agroforestry, clean energy, water harvesting, and waste management as a measurement to correct environment degradation. In Butere sub-county, a tree nursery is thriving. There are about 50,000 seedlings of trees such as cypress, blue gum and grevillea robusta,

Providing Shelter

Some of the very vulnerable in our communities lack shelter. They live in a very deplorable conditions.

A decent shelter for low-income families can improve their well-being and catalyse overall economic growth since With this basic need met, parents can often turn their attention to educating their children and pursuing jobs that increase their income and future prospects

Provision of Clean Safe Water

WAN-K has embarked on the provision of water for communities. This transformative initiative not only ensure access to clean and reliable water but is also a significant step towards improving the overall quality of life for the people in the areas served, creating a thriving community built on the foundation of basic necessities and shared prosperity.

Sanitary Towel Support For Our Girls

This scheme is essential in a country where over 65% of people who menstruate cannot afford sanitary towels, according to figures cited in the 2016 report Menstrual Health in Kenya.

We have embarked on this noble cause to keep our girls in school. Sometimes we get short of supplies, which mean the girls that we have not reached will go for alternative avenues. These could lead to dropping out of school or even teenage pregnancies. We target to keep girls in school in the entire western region
